The iconic black Symbiote costume will play a major role in Spider-Man 2’s story, and Insomniac confirmed that a collection of bonus costumes will be exclusive to deluxe editions of the game during Summer Games Fest back in June. When Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was announced during a blockbuster PlayStation Showcase livestream back in 2021, fans naturally began speculating on what classic Spidey costumes would be included - with some of the most popular suggestions being Andrew Garfield’s suit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Tom Holland’s more comic-accurate outfit from the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
